FINSULATE SEAGRADE
The SEAGRADE antifouling film was developed for use in salty waters, but is also suitable for freshwater areas.
With the SeaGrade fiber film you have maximum antifouling protection for your ship. Barnacles, tube worms and other organisms are kept at a distance.

FINSULATE LAKEGRADE
The LAKEGRADE antifouling film was developed primarily for the freshwater area, with occasional exposure to salt water.
The prevention of growth of mussels and algae as well as lime deposits, e.g. in mountain lakes, is the main focus here.
We also recommend the LakeGrade antifouling film if you are only occasionally travelling with your boat in saltwater areas for a few weeks.

This antifouling film is also a suitable variant for catamarans, as they can rarely be lifted out of the water due to their size.
SEAGRADE EL can reach a durability of up to 20 years.

PRIMER AUFTRAGEN
Finsulate® as an environmentally friendly antifouling solution is applied to the underwater hull for at least 5 years. In order for the antifouling film to give you optimal fun and enjoyment in sailing and motor boating, the surface to be applied with Finsulate® must be prepared accordingly.
The old antifouling layers are removed down to the last primer layer. Then the underwater hull is painted with at least one layer of 2K epoxy primer. As soon as the primer has dried sufficiently, the Finsulate® fibre film is applied to the hull of your yacht.
If no antifouling protection has been applied to the hull of your yacht before, the boat foiling can be applied directly on the gelcoat or aluminium hull after appropriate preparation.

Once the preparations are complete, the Finsulate® antifouling film is installed. The application of the Finsulate® special film is carried out exclusively by qualified specialists. Depending on the location this is either a Finsulate® team or a certified service partner.
This is also a big advantage, because we can work on the ships everywhere - in contrast to the traditional toxic paint jobs. The berth of your ship is secondary here.

After applying the antifouling film (in contrast to antifouling paints, which are applied in several layers and have longer curing times), boats sealed with our fibre film can be returned to the water right away.
During longer periods of lying ashore, e.g. in winter storage, the antifouling film does not dry out. This means that your yacht can remain outside for several months without any problems.
